Ravens QB Lamar Jackson Remains Skeptical About COVID Vaccine

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson has now tested positive for COVID-19 twice. After the first bout, Jackson acknowledged the seriousness of the virus. However, the one time was not enough as Jackson has now gone through the NFL health and safety protocol twice after testing positive.

After all he has experienced, Jackson remains skeptical about getting vaccinated against the virus. Jackson was asked about his intention to get vaccinated during his first press conference back on Monday, “I just got off the COVID list. I got to talk to my team doctors about this and see how they feel about it. Keep learning as much as I can about it. We’ll go from there. “We’ll see. Talking to the doctors. We’ll see.”

Early on, Jackson was asked about his initial opinion on the vaccine and said it is a “personal choice.” This statement came as covid-19 cases surged among the entire population. Jackson continued with his statement saying “You know, I wanna inspire the kids. I want to inspire the community. But at the same time, people are gonna feel however they want to feel in certain situations and you just gotta go however you want to go about it. So, we gon’ see.”

Jackson’s second negative result came on July 27 at the start of the Ravens training camp, forcing him to go into a ten-day isolation period. According to Jackson, the symptoms were about the same the second time around.
