Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics: Day 14 (Feb. 23) Medal Count

The 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang have been filled with excitement, and the standings continue to change just two days before the Games end.

Norway still leads the medals race with 37, two more (both silver) than they had on Thursday. Canada has jumped to second with 27 medals (three more than Thursday, one of each kind) to pass Germany, who dropped to third after winning just one medal Friday (a bronze) to bring their total to 26.

Team USA is still fourth with 21 after gaining no hardware on Friday (Pyeongchang time). Canada won gold and silver in women’s ski cross on Friday.

The Netherlands are fifth with 18 (one more than Thursday, a gold) and France are sixth with 15, same as Thursday.

The Olympic Athletes from Russia jumped from eighth to seventh after winning their first gold in figure skating on Thursday, to bring their total to 14. (The Russians also won a silver and lost two bronze after two curlers were caught doping).

Host nation South Korea won a bronze to bring their total to 12, but fell from ninth to tenth.
