Vermont police are investigating allegations of hazing involving the Norwich University women’s rugby team.
Officials recently collected evidence at the private military school after allegations of hazing involving “branding and waterboarding of and by NU students.”
Other allegations include players being held at knifepoint and one who was “branded” by teammates with pliers and a lighter. One victim said she was too intoxicated to argue and wouldn’t have conceded had she been sober.
An investigation is ongoing.
