Jarrod Lyle (Aug. 8, age 36)
Australian golfer Jarrod Lyle died Wednesday at age 36 following a long fight with cancer.
Lyle — who would have turned 37 later this month — was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia when he was 17, and underwent treatment multiple times after suffering most severely from the disease in 2012 and 2017. He had a bone marrow transplant in December 2017.
The Australian twice won the Web.com Tour, back when it was called the Nationwide Tour.
