Don Sutton, 75
Los Angeles Dodgers legend and Hall of Fame Pitcher Don Sutton has died at the age of 75. The news was reported by Suttons’ son Daron, who said that his father passed away in his sleep last week.
The news was then confirmed by the MLB’s official Twitter account.
Sutton was a four-time All-Star who spent 16 of his 23 seasons played with the Dodgers. During his time in Los Angeles, he helped the team win four NL pennants, enabling them to make the World Series four times. Los Angeles lost all four World Series matchups. Two of those were back to back losses in the 1977 and 1978 World Series to rival the New York Yankees.
