3. DeAndre Hopkins, Arizona Cardinals
Hopkins has been incredibly consistent over his career and fared well during his first season with the Cardinals and signal caller Kyler Murray. Hopkins hauled in 115-of-160 targets for 1,407 yards and six touchdowns. He averaged 18 fantasy points per game.
While I expect his numbers to be fairly similar heading into the 2021 season, it’s not unimaginable for Hopkins to find the end zone more often during his second season with Arizona.
In 2020, he finished as the fourth-best wide receiver in fantasy football, yet his six touchdowns ranked 21st in the league. His 1,407 receiving yards ranked second in the NFL and he only dropped one pass all year.
The Cardinals would like to have a balanced approach on offense, however, it is clear that Hopkins is the go-to option to move the chains. Now that Kenyan Drake had signed with the Raiders, it is very possible that Arizona’s rushing attack will struggle, forcing Murray to target his favorite receiver even more often in 2021. Hopkins could very well lead the league in targets. I expect him to have a filthy 2021 campaign. You can’t go wrong with Hopkins as your top wide receiver in any fantasy football format.
