10. Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers
Heading into the 2020 season, many fantasy football experts were staying away from Allen due to the fact that his longtime quarterback Phillip Rivers left for the Indianapolis Colts. However, Allen defied all odds and finished as the twelfth-ranked receiver in fantasy football.
Allen was a reception machine in his eighth NFL season. He benefited greatly from the emergence of rookie quarterback Justin Herbert. Once Herbert took over for the injured Tyrod Taylor, Allen was a consistent WR1. The veteran finished the season with exactly 100 receptions for 992 yards and eight touchdowns. Although it was disappointing to see him fail to cross the 1,000-yard marker, fantasy owners were still delighted with his overall production, especially since he was absent from two games, and left very early on in an additional two other games.
As long as the veteran can stay healthy in his ninth NFL season, Allen should battle to be considered one of the top-10 wideouts in fantasy football. Herbert will only get better in his second season, and the two players have clearly developed incredible chemistry. Expect another 100-catch season from the lightning bolt in 2021.
