2. George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers
Although he was hurt for much of the season, Kittle still averaged 15.6 fantasy points per game when healthy in 2020. He finished the season with 48 receptions for 634 yards and two scores. Kittle finished as only the 19th-best tight end in fantasy, but you can chalk that up to injuries. It also doesn’t help that the quarterback play in San Francisco is lacking. Hopefully the Niners decide to upgrade from Jimmy Garroppolo.
In any case, Kittle had the second-best contested catch rate at his position, catching 80 % of contested balls. And his six drops last year were very uncharacteristic for the big man. Expect a return to normalcy for Kittle in 2021, which means something like 80-plus, catches, 1,000-plus yards and a handful of touchdowns.
