Yes, you have read the headline right. In the offseason, Penn State’s Anthony Zettel found himself in a forest and decided to tackle a tree. The 6’4″, 275-pound defensive tackle makes the tree look like nothing as he uproots it and sends it crashing to the floor.
Now, as skeptics pointed out, this was probably set up and the tree looked weak. My response to those complaints: he hit a tree. Even if this was set up for the camera, hitting a tree will send any grown man home crying.

So everyone has to praise Zettel for what he did. Let’s just hope that it translates to the football field. In his third season as a Nittany Lion, he had career best numbers with 42 total tackles, 17 tackles for a loss, eight sacks, a whooping three interceptions and one forced fumble.
