Houston Astros’ Lance McCullers Wears Batman Cleats In MLB Debut

The Houston Astros, the former joke of the MLB, have put together a fantastic opening to their 2015 season: an MLB best 25-14 record. On top of this, they have an extremely young and talented roster that is only getting better with experience.

And yesterday, one of their prospects, Lance McCullers, got his MLB debut against the Oakland Athletics. Now, while he had a fairly average outing — he pitched 4.2 innings with five strikeouts and one earned run — his Batman cleats became the star of the show.

Unfortunately, the super powers did not help the Astros win, as they lost the close matchup against the A’s 2-1. Still, the Internet erupted with love for these awesome Under Armour cleats.
