This year, the University of Central Florida made news for the wrong reasons; the only reason anyone mentioned them was because they failed to win any games during the entire season. New head coach Scott Frost should put a stop to that.
The 40-year-old’s last job was as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the potent Oregon Ducks offense that saw then en-sophomore Marcus Mariota set the school record for single-season total offense with 7,345 yards. Prior to that, Frost served as the team’s wide receivers coach.
“Scott is a winner and innovator who has directed one of college football’s most exciting offenses at the University of Oregon,” UCF athletic director Danny White said. “His attitude and experience are exactly what we need to ensure the Knights compete, and win, at the highest levels.”
