The Los Angeles Rams, which just moved back to their original home from St. Louis this year, are going to have to remove at least one player from their depth chart if they want to add to their quarterback position this offseason. This player will most likely be veteran quarterback Nick Foles, who previously played for the Philadelphia Eagles.
According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, new Eagles head coach Doug Pederson may be interested in a reunion with Foles as the Eagles go into this offseason. Schefter also explained that although the Eagles has interest in keeping current QB Sam Bradford, it is unlikely they will use the franchise tag to make that happen.
Many others have weighed in on the probability of this reunion. Phillyvoice.com’s Jimmy Kempski argues for a Foles-for-DeMarco Murray (Philadelphia running back) trade.
NJ.com’s Elliott Shorr-Parks is much more skeptical of a possible Foles return.

Either way, the Rams must soon find themselves a better quarterback. Finding a replacement for Foles would be great for the team, because it would save them a lot of money against the salary cap. Of course, this would also make it rather difficult to find a team who would be willing to trade for him.
