The New York Jets may have struggled to start the 2019 season, but perhaps they may be slowly finding their groove as Week 12 approaches.

The team is 3-7 and third in the AFC East but has won its last two games against the New York Giants and the Washington Redskins. The Jets also defeated the Dallas Cowboys 24-22 in Week 5.

In Sunday’s 34-17 victory over the Redskins, the Jets offense accomplished something it hadn’t in more than a year: it compiled more than 400 yards in a game. However, the Jets have still committed the fifth-most turnovers in the league this year (19), are the third-most penalized franchise in terms of total yards and have averaged just 16.4 points per matchup.

Additionally, running back Le’Veon Bell has struggled to deliver for the Jets since he joined the team in free agency. Bell is 21st in the NFL in rushing yards and has only averaged just over 3.5 yards per carry in one game this season.

According to Tankathon, the Jets hold the fifth pick in next year’s draft, so hopefully this can help revive the team. Cincinnati, Washington, the Giants and Miami hold the first four picks.
