The 2018 NBA Draft is scheduled to take place this Thursday night in Brooklyn, and here are some things you need to know.

NBA Draft 2018 Preview

The Phoenix Suns have the first pick after winning the draft lottery. The Sacramento Kings, Atlanta Hawks, Memphis Grizzlies and Dallas Mavericks have the second, third, fourth and fifth selections, respectively.

The Nets will host the two-round event at the Barclays Center. The draft will air on ESPN and will start at 7pm EST. It can also be streamed at WatchESPN.com or the WatchESPN app.

Among the projected top draft picks are Arizona’s Deandre Ayton, Duke’s Marvin Bagley III and Oklahoma’s Trae Young.

Real Madrid’s 19-year-old Slovenian star Luka Dončić could also be selected in the top ten. The Sixers lead all teams with six draft picks. The Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors both lack draft picks this year.

Michigan State’s freshman center Jaren Jackson Jr. has also been a highly-touted player recently.
