Monmouth University Bench Reenacts ‘The Creation Of Adam’

During a basketball game, there’s nothing unusual about seeing the bench celebrate a big play.Typically, there will be some clapping and high fives; if the play in question was especially big, maybe someone will wave a towel or lean on his teammates for support.

But the Monmouth University bench isn’t typical.

During a nationally televised win over Georgetown, four players on the bench took advantage of their shot at the spotlight. Tyler Robinson,  Louie Pillari, Dan Pillari and Greg Noack decided to recreate ‘The Creation of Adam,’ which adorns the Sistine Chapel’s ceiling. And, other then the fact that they’re wearing basketball shorts and warmup shirts, it’s a pretty solid imitation.
