Minnesota Vikings WR Jordan Addison was arrested and taken into custody over the weekend before being released two hours later. The incident occurred outside LAX airport, and the police report stated Addison fell asleep while behind the wheel. His blood alcohol level has not been released.
Addison is going into his second season with the Vikings and played his final collegiate season with USC.
Shortly after the arrest, the Vikings released a statement: “We are aware of Jordan Addison’s arrest this past Friday and are currently gathering more information regarding the incident.” Training camp for most NFL teams begins this or the following week.
This is not Addison’s first public driving offense. Before training camp last season, a Minnesota police officer pulled him over and clocked him at 140 miles per hour, which resulted in almost $700 in fines.
