Mike Ditka Farts On Cris Carter On ‘Monday Night Countdown,’ Denies The Deed

Former player and head coach Mike Ditka has everything to live for after having a successful career winning two Super Bowl championships as a tight end and assistant coach for the Dallas Cowboys and another Super Bowl as head coach of the Chicago Bears. He currently works as a broadcaster for ESPN’s Sunday Night Countdown as well as Monday Night Countdown.

On Monday, before ESPN’S broadcast of Monday Night Football with the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles playing each other, Coach Ditka was discussing the matchup and disagreeing with colleague Cris Carter while host Chris Berman was listening and suddenly, an unpleasant noise that was assumed be a giant fart was heard while the broadcast was on the air.

It seems that Ditka lifted his right leg to let the gas out to Carter’s dismay before the camera went back onto Berman. The Internet exploded when this occurred with everyone asking Ditka if he really passed gas on Carter and using the famous slogan used by the crew “C’mon Man!” to show their displeasure for the former coach’s antics.

Yesterday, Ditka went on record with the Chicago Sun-Times to say it was not him who pulled off the gas. “It wasn’t me. Believe me, I’m to the point in my life where it doesn’t matter. One day I’ll be happy if I can leave a fart. Right now, it wasn’t me. I don’t care what they think. They can think anything they want.” The real truth may never be told but for now, it can be said that Mike Ditka farted on Cris Carter.
