Max Homa is really hitting his stride this week. On Sunday, he picked up his first PGA Tour win. The 28-year-old from Burbank, California, ultimately won the Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte by three strokes.

If this is your first time hearing about Homa, you’re not to blame. After winning the 2013 Individual NCAA Division I Championship and being selected to the 2013 U.S. Walker Cup squad, Homa stopped making headlines. That changed on Sunday night.

After missing 15 of 17 cuts, he pushed on and hit the range, saying he’d normally shoot a “bazillion” on Thursday and then repeat it on Friday before missing the cut. Yet, this Sunday he made the cut and sunk the final putt for a clear victory, 15 under par. He also went home with the $1.422 million winner’s share. Here’s that winning putt:

However, one thing did go wrong for Homa. He missed HBO’s hit show Game of Thrones, even tweeting about it. He wrote: “I just realized I missed Game of Thrones tonight. Plz don’t ruin it for me, but if u do I honestly don’t care cuz I just won and life couldn’t be better #TeamArya.”

Homa has always been one of the most genuine golfers on social media, using like an ordinary person rather than as a platform to hawk products and his fans made sure to acknowledge that. Sports Illustrated writer Alan Shipnuck wrote: “The outpouring of excitement for @maxhoma23 is a strong rebuke to all the Tour stars who use social media only to sell stuff and/or let others put up banal/sterile posts. Max’s whole brand on here is sincerity and authenticity (and irreverence) and that’s why he’s so beloved.”

There’s no updates yet on if he got around to watching the newest episode of GoT but there is a Jordan shrug meme.
