Marshawn Lynch’s Agent Doug Hendrickson Posts Then Deletes Tweet Critical Of Russell Wilson

With the “Legion of Boom,” “Beast Mode,” and good young quarterback Russell Wilson, the Seattle Seahawks seemed like they were set up to be a force in the National Football League.

Yes, they had the terrible loss against the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl. But the Seahawks were supposed to be better than this.

During the back-breaking loss against the Arizona Cardinals on Nov. 15 to fall to 4-5, Wilson played terribly in the first half. Seattle’s offense never really found a rhythm until the last drive, and they trailed 22-7 at halftime.

During that awful first half, Lynch’s agent had had enough.

Doug Hendrickson put a tweet out during the game telling @DangeRussWilson (Russell Wilson’s twitter account) to “pull your head out of your…”.

There’s been reports of tension between the Seahawks before. In October of 2014, Mike Freeman of Bleacher Report reported that then Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin severely disliked Wilson, and it was the main reason he was traded to the New York Jets.

Back then, the Seahawks were 3-3. After losing their next game to the St. Louis Rams, the Seahawks won nine of their last ten to be the #1 seed in the NFC, eventually making it to the Super Bowl.

But even when they were finding success on the field, Seattle has also been a controversial team. Their star cornerback Richard Sherman is famous for his rants and cocky demeanor which he backs up with his stellar play. And “I’m just here so I won’t get fined” entered the public lexicon thanks to Seattle running back Lynch.

After that miracle play by Malcolm Butler in the Super Bowl, Seattle traded away one of their best offensive lineman for tight end Jimmy Graham, who has been a non-factor so far.

It’s not even the first time someone close to Lynch has been angry at this Seahawks offense this year. After a Week 1 loss to the St. Louis Rams, Lynch’s mother called for offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell to be fired on Facebook.

Lynch hasn’t been great this year. He’s missed time with a hamstring injury and was placed on the injury report with an abdominal issue late last week.

So if Seattle is going to pull off another great turn-around, Wilson and Lynch are going to have to get on the same page.
