Marshawn Lynch Expands Vocabulary In New Progressive Commercial
Marshawn Lynch, the king of interviewees, has decided on the heels of Super Bowl media day to unleash a new Progressive commercial making fun of his refusal to speak during interviews.
In the commercial, ESPN’s Kenny Mayne is unable to get the star athlete to open up and out of desperation attempts to use a word association game with the star. This eventually results in him talking about how much money one could save by switching over to Progressive.
This is certainly a chuckle-worthy advertisement: probably not the first organization to pitch this idea to Lynch — they were just likely the one who paid him the most: still, it is fun to see the usually stoic running back open up and have fun, even if it is during a paid advertisement.

On a side note, this commercial reminded me of the great article ran by The Onion yesterday, which claims Lynch went on for 45 minutes during media day talking about “privacy in the modern age.”
