The Old White Guy Media (or OWGM for short) is at it again – and by at it again I mean making insensitive remarks that are either misogynistic, insensitive or any other horrible adjective you can use. On his Twitter account Monday night, Dan McNeil, a host with 670 The Score in Chicago, criticized ESPN sideline anchor Maria Taylor‘s outfit saying that she would be more suited to hosting an adult film awards show. McNeil quickly deleted the tweet.
It is still baffling that some of these male media members think that they are in any position to make criticisms about a woman’s appearance when they should only be focusing on journalism.
Taylor quickly responded by blasting McNeil. “Well Danny Dearest if you would like to continue making sexist comments about me,” she tweeted. “Please bring your misogyny with you to the NBA Countdown double header I’ll be hosting tomorrow night. Hey ladies remember you can wear whatever you feel confident in!”
