A suspect who was allegedly involved in an altercation at a South Dakota bar which led to Philadelphia Eagles’ tight end Dallas Goedert being sucker punched in the face and hospitalized has been arrested.
Video released of the incident saw Goedert getting punched in the face in a hard to identify suspect who left the tight end unconscious.
Officials at the Aberdeen Police Department issued a statement regarding the arrest, in which they said, “At approximately 1:07am on 06/20/2020 Aberdeen Police responded to the 1000 block of South Main Street in reference to an assault. It was discovered that an adult male had been punched in the face. The male was transported to Avera St. Luke’s Hospital where he was treated and released. Investigation led to the arrest of Kyle Douglas Hadala, age 29 of Sarasota, Florida. He was charged with simple assault.”
Goedert says that he is doing fine and that he did not sustain any major injuries which is why Hadala, who was in South Dakota for work, was charged with simple assault.
