Free agent pitcher Lance Lynn has agreed to a one-year deal with the St. Louis Cardinals.
His deal is a one-year contract that guarantees him $10 million, with incentives and a 2025 option. Lynn’s contract could see him earn as much as $25 million.
With his career beginning in St. Louis in 2011, the signing is a reunion of sorts. He spent six years with the Cardinals until 2017. He missed the 2016 season due to Tommy John surgery.
Lynn played last season with the Chicago White Sox. He was later traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers during the deadline.
