The Bucks will have to rely heavily on Giannis Antetokounmpo and the rest of the team, as Khris Middleton will miss the next two weeks—at least—with an MCL sprain in his right knee.
He’ll be re-evaluated after two weeks, so there’s no guarantee he would make it back by the next round—if Milwaukee advances, which, of course, is not a given.
The injury was sustained in the Game 2 loss to the Bulls. And now Chicago will have an easier time defending Antetokounmpo in Middleton’s absence.
Pat Connaughton and Grayson Allen are both capable of replacing Middleton, as they’ve contributed all season. But guard Jevon Carter could receive more playing time as a result; he’s seen 20 total minutes these playoffs.
