Kentucky QB Zach Calzada Apologizes For NIL Money Flashing
Kentucky quarterback Zach Calzada apologized after appearing to flash multiple $100 bills in a video on social media.
The viral video appeared to show the seventh-year quarterback flexing his NIL money. Calzada spoke throughout the video to an apparent fan, named Garrett, who had apparently criticized his performances.

“Hey, what you need to do, Garrett, is your a– needs to stop hating and go get yourself some money,” Calzada said in the video. “But since you ain’t got nothing, you go ahead and count mine.”

Calzada proceeded to count multiple $100 bills at a fast pace.
A spokesperson from the university told the Lexington Herald-Leader that Calzada took full responsibility for the incident and has apologized. He added, “It’s time to move forward” now.
The quarterback also wrote an apology on his Instagram account.
The 25-year-old started his collegiate career at Texas A&M. After three seasons, he transferred to Auburn, but left the Tigers after one year to join Incarnate Word.
He transferred once more in 2025, this time to Kentucky, where he’s made just two appearances for the Wildcats. In his second game, he suffered an injury to his throwing shoulder and has been sidelined since.
Kentucky hosts the Florida Gators on Saturday night, looking to improve to a 4-5 record overall.
