The Moutaineers (15-2, 3rd in Big 12) have won four straight over Kansas at home. West Virginia is coming off a road loss at Texas Tech.

Kansas (14-3, 2nd in Big 12) has already won at Texas and TCU.

Jayhawks point guard Devonte’ Graham and Mountaineers point guard Jevon Carter — both seniors — are Big 12 Player of the Year candidates. Carter has the best chance to catch Oklahoma’s Trae Young.
