Jordan Spieth wowed fans in Irving, Texas, on Wednesday after he pulled off an incredible trick while preparing for this year’s AT&T Byron Nelson: he hit a marshmallow off his golf ball and caught it in his mouth.
The 22-year-old Texas native and World No. 2 began by carefully balancing the treat on top of his ball, and the proceeded to hit both with a single swing. As he dove backwards, he opened his mouth and caught it to make it a hole-in-one.
Fans cheered and applauded as Spieth fell over during his celebrations. The golfer was practicing during a short-game clinic ahead of this week’s AT&T Byron Nelson at TPC Four Seasons Resort in Texas.
Spieth disappointed at last month’s Masters in Augusta after he fired a ball into the water on the 12th hole despite holding a five-shot lead. Englishman Danny Willett raced past the Texan favorite and ultimately won the tournament.
