Joe Harris had a big night scoring 24 points to show that the Brooklyn Nets are not just the big three. Harris was on fire from beyond the arc in the Nets’ Game 2 victory over the Boston Celtics.
Harris tied a franchise playoff record with seven 3-pointers, and Kevin Durant added 26 points in the 130-108 pummeling of the Celtics.
“Different games it’s going to be different guys,” James Harden said. “Tonight it was Joe, next game, Game 3 it could be somebody else. So we’re just all locked in, we’re all on the same page, and whatever it takes to win, we’re willing to do.”
Harris, who led the league in 3-point percentage with 47.5%, drained three straight 3-pointers to extend a three-point lead to 25-13.

It was 40-26 after the first quarter, and Harden made consecutive three pointers to open the second. That made it a 20-point game, and the Nets never looked back as they continued to hold onto the massive lead.
For Boston, Marcus Smart scored 19 points, and Kemba Walker had 17 points. Leading scorer Jayson Tatum struggled from the floor, shooting 3-for-12 from the field for nine points. Tatum left the game after 21 minutes because he was poked in the right eye.
Walker said that the team will be looking at film to find ways to improve and any opportunities that they’re missing.
“I know I missed a lot of passes myself that I could’ve made personally that I would definitely like to be better at,” Walker said. “So we’ve just got to be better.”
Game 3 will shift to Boston as the Nets look to build on their first 2-0 lead in a series since 2004 when they swept the Knicks in the first round.
