Jake Paul Confirmed To Fight UFC Legend Anderson Silva: Does The Matchup Make Sense?

It will be available to watch on Showtime pay-per-view.

The move comes as Paul remains undefeated in boxing at 5-0, with most of his wins coming against former UFC fighters.

In his last fight, the 25-year-old knocked out former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley.

But some will have concerns about Silva despite him being one of the best professional fighters of all time.

Silva, who had 10 belt defenses in the UFC, is 47 years old.

However, despite his age, he has something that the other former UFC fighters that have faced off with Paul don’t – and that’s boxing experience.

In 2021, Silva won two fights including one against retired MMA fighter Tito Ortiz, who is now 47 as well.

Silva’s boxing record is 3-1.

Given the age and experience in boxing, some might think that it’s a fight that Paul should win.

However, a few odds makers favor Silva.

In fact, Silva is given a 58% chance to beat Paul, according to OddsChecker.

This is new territory for Paul, who has been the clear-cut favorite in his most recent boxing matches.

But for both fighters, this will be their biggest challenge to date in the ring.

For Silva, the biggest concern is age.

As for Paul, he will now face a fighter that has found success in not only the UFC – but in boxing as well.

But both fighters should be in for a payday.

In one of Paul’s fights against Woodley, he was said to earn $2 million.
