So when the Warriors’ Harrison Barnes attempted to cover the Grizzlies’ Courtney Lee, he got crossed up, slipping on the court and doing a full agonizing split. Warning, this is not for the faint of heart.
Anyone who has ever had a groin injury knows his pain. Surprisingly, Barnes was able to stay in the game, scoring 14 points and garnering three total rebounds in the Warriors’ 98-78 victory.
He even joked about the incident following the game. “Stretching every day definitely prepared me for doing the splits during the game,” Barnes said. “That was very, very awkward.”
