It’s been several years since Gilbert Arenas played in the NBA, but he still found a way to make news on Wednesday.
The former Wizards guard posted an instagram video of two women playing basketball in their underwear with the comment:
NOW this is what america was hoping for when they announced the #WNBA back in 1996… not a bunch of chicks running around looking like, cast members from#orangeisthenewblack…dont get me wrong, they have few #cutiepies but theres a whole alotta #beanpies running around hahahahahaha if #skylardiggins came out like this,I dont care if she missed every layup.

He would later make two more posts defending his comments; one specifically mentioned veteran sportswriter Jackie MacMullan, who discussed the posts on ESPN’s Around the Horn, and called those who disagreed with his initial post “high self esteem ugly chicks.”
Shortly after, the WBNA issued a statement putting Arenas in his place.
