Get yourself some friends who will help you like Drake helped LeBron James.
“Myself and Eddie from Stake, we’re going to dedicate $1 million to the I PROMISE School, and I’m going to come drop it off myself before the school year is over,” Drake says to James in an Instagram video.
“Wow. Oh, man I appreciate it,” James replies. “My kids are going to crazy for that. Thanks, brother.”
The donation comes on the heels of the singer winning big during “an incredible night” of playing roulette on the crypto gambling app Stake.

“Any time I get blessed like that I always think it’s good karma that needs to be transferred,” Drake says. “I play for fun, and I play in the hopes that I can spread love always.”
The I PROMISE School is part of the Akron Public School District. Its website says, “In July of 2018, the LeBron James Family Foundation and Akron Public Schools officially opened the doors of the I PROMISE School with a mission to wrap around the most at-risk students and families in Akron. Taking a We Are Family approach to educating the whole child and family, IPS is creating a new model for urban, public education.”
