Former President Donald Trump has signed a contract to commentate the Triller “Legends II” boxing event on Saturday, Sept. 11 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The four-fight telecast will be headlined by Evander Holyfield vs. Vitor Belfort, though other notable fights include Anderson Silva-Tito Ortiz and David Haye-Joe Fournier.
Trump, who has hosted plenty of fights at his former casinos in Atlantic City, stated, “I love great fighters and great fights. I look forward to seeing both this Saturday night and sharing my thoughts ringside. You won’t want to miss this special event.”
The announcement comes as a great disappointment to many given that Saturday marks the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. For comparison, former President George W. Bush will deliver keynote remarks at the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, while former President Barack Obama will attend a remembrance ceremony at Ground Zero in Manhattan.
