The Miami Dolphins are acquiring linebacker Bradley Chubb in a move that will help the team’s pass rush.
The Dolphins are sending a first-round pick in 2023, a fourth in 2024 and running back Chase Edmonds to the Denver Broncos.
In return, the Broncos will get Chubb and a 2025 fifth-round pick.

The move to get Chubb comes after Sunday’s victory against the Detroit Lions, giving the team a 5-3 record.
This season, Chubb has recorded 5.5 sacks with the Broncos.
The Dolphins are looking to shore up its defense and make the playoffs.
The Broncos, on the other hand, have a disappointing 3-5 record on the season.
That comes despite acquiring quarterback Russell Wilson.
Originally, the Broncos were slated to not have a 2023 first-round pick – but the deal with the Dolphins will give now give it a selection in the top 32.
The Dolphins, as things stand currently, will be without a 2023 first-round pick.
Originally, it had two of them but was forced to forfeit its own due to violating the NFL’s tampering rules.
The pick it traded today in the Chubb deal was the San Fransisco 49ers first-rounder, which the Dolphins acquired at the 2021 draft.
The Dolphins were also without a first-round pick in the 2022 draft, as it traded for star wide receiver Tyreke Hill.
Another move the Dolphins made today was acquiring 49ers running back Jeff Wilson for a 2023 fifth-round pick.
Other trades around the NFL on Tuesday included the Pittsburgh Steelers acquiring William Jackson III and the Atlanta Falcons are trading suspended wide receiver, Calvin Ridley to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Meanwhile, there were some rumors around wide receiver Brandin Cooks getting dealt – but he is staying with Houston Texas at least for now.
The NFL trade deadline passed at 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
