Colin Kaepernick Hits Trainer In Face With Pass

San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick unintentionally struck a trainer on the sideline in the face after throwing a deep pass late in the first quarter of Thursday night’s home game vs. the Seattle Seahawks. Kaepernick threw the pass on a third down play, with eight yards to go for another first down.

The staff member had to be checked by medical personnel, although no immediate update was released on the trainer’s condition.

Kaepernick gave a very mediocre performance against the Seahawks Thursday night, with 13 out of 24 total passes completed for 124 yards. He has also thrown five interceptions in seven games this season.

San Francisco’s head coach, Jim Tomsula, who replaced Jim Harbaugh in 2014, has struggled to help keep Kaepernick and his receivers in sync, among other problems.
