PHOENIX, AZ - NOVEMBER 02: C.J. McCollum #3 of the Portland Trail Blazers drives the ball past Devin Booker #1 of the Phoenix Suns during the first half of the NBA game at Talking Stick Resort Arena on November 2, 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona.
After agreeing with point guard Damian Lillard earlier this summer on a super–max extension, the Portland Trailblazers wasted no time, getting back to work when addressing LIllard’s co-star C.J. McCollum, as the team singed him to an extension as well this week.
The move not only solidifies Portland as McCollum’s home but also the Trailblazers as a top Western threat with a lethal backcourt.
With Lillard and the Portland front office fully behind him, McCollum eagerly awaits his next chance to blaze forward and to wear his familiar red and black threads.
