Christian Colon’s Foul Ball Is The Craziest Thing You Will See

The Kansas City Royals and Detroit Tigers had a long extra-inning game following a rain delay. And though the headline should read Tigers defeat the Royals in the tenth, Christian Colon’s foul ball is the talk of the town.

Colon hit a dinky foul ball about five feet away from the first base line. But the mixture of the spin and perhaps the wet grass caused the ball to somehow spin far. Even Colon was surprised as he left the box incredibly late. And unfortunately for him, Miguel Cabrera moved in to make the easy out.

The lesson of the day is always run out every foul ball because one day this could happen.
