Chris Paul’s Family Attacked At Game 4 Against Mavericks
Those rowdy fans are at it again.
As if watching a close relative play in an NBA playoff game wasn’t stressful enough, several of Chris Paul’s family members also had to deal with verbal and physical confrontation Sunday at Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals between the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns—a 111-101 Dallas win that tied the series at 2.
Paul addressed the situation on social media: “Wanna fine players for saying stuff to the fans but the fans can put they hands on our families….f**k that!!”
Paul’s mom, Robin, and his wife, Jada, and their two children were behind the Suns’ bench at American Airlines Center. Someone put their hands on Robin, while Jada was pushed.
“It was unacceptable behavior and will not be tolerated,” the Mavericks said in a statement. “The Mavericks, along with American Airlines Center, swiftly removed the fan from today’s game.”
