Chicago Bulls Beat San Antonio Spurs 92-89 In Thriller

The Chicago Bulls defeated the San Antonio Spurs 92-89 in a nail-biting game at the United Center in Chicago on Monday night. Jimmy Butler and Derrick Rose provided the big defensive plays for the Bulls in the last possession.

The Bulls were leading by three with 10.6 seconds left when Butler managed to hold off Kawhi Leonard, whose jump fell short. Tim Duncan then snagged the ball and tossed it over to Tony Parker, who attempted a three-point shot but was blocked by Rose to secure the Bulls the win.

San Antonio tied the game at 89 with about two minutes left, and Chicago won the game after free throws from Butler and Pau Gasol. Gasol led the Bulls with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Butler scored 14 points and Rose racked up 11 points and six assists. Reserve Doug McDermott got 12 points and Joakim Noah got 11 rebounds and seven assists. On the Spurs’ side, Leonard scored 25 points.

The Bulls have now advanced to 10-5 with their sixth win in the last eight after their previous game on Friday at Indiana, where they lost 104-92. The Spurs, on the other hand, have now fallen to 14-4 after winning 11 of their previous 12 games, the last five in a row. The Bulls will next host the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday, while the Spurs will host the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday.
