Brandon London on Chad Johnson, the NFL and CFL by uSports
In a recent interview, uSports got a chance to sit down with former New York Giants receiver and current CFL star Brandon London. In this first video, London talks about his stint in the NFL with three separate teams: he was with the Giants during their 2007 Super Bowl run, the Miami Dolphins in 2008 and finally, the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2010.
And throughout his short career in the pros, he learned from some great athletes like Amani Toomer, Plaxico Buress, Antonio Brown and Andre Johnson, which has helped him in his CFL career with the Montreal Alouettes.
Each athlete was different and therefore provided some key insight to a piece of his game. “Antonio Brown is a shorter quicker guy, so I used to do the footwork drills with him to keep my footwork as fast as the shorter guys,” he told uSports. “But when it came to working out with Plaxico Buress and Andre Johnson it be more of a long stride type of thing… it’s just amazing over the course of nine years of football, the different people I’ve been around to learn [the position].”
Be sure to stay tuned in the coming weeks for London’s take on the CFL, his future plans and training regiment.
