On Tuesday, the St. Louis Cardinals will visit the Chicago White Sox, and here is what you need to know.
This will be the first game in a two-game series. The Cardinals (46-43) are coming off a 13-8 loss to the San Francisco Giants. The White Sox (30-60) last fell to the Houston Astros 2-1.
Right-hander Dylan Covey (3-4, 5.54 ERA) will likely start for Chicago. He counts 38 strikeouts this season. Covey will face St. Louis’s righty starter Miles Mikolas (9-3, 2.63 ERA), who has struck out 75 batters this season.
