Cleveland Browns linebacker Devin Bush was charged with simple assault and harassment in Pennsylvania on Sunday, according to court records.

Bush is awaiting a preliminary arraignment.

Police were called to a home in Pittsburgh on Sunday to a report of assault. Bush’s girlfriend told police that Bush had assaulted her and taken her car keys.

The two had gotten into an argument that resulted in Bush becoming aggressive, according to the complaint. During the argument, Bush allegedly smashed her phone and pinned her against a massage table.

Police discovered cuts on Bush’s girlfriend, as well as smashed pieces of the phone on the ground.

Bush, the tenth overall pick in 2019, spent the first four years of his career with the Steelers. In 2023, he signed with the Seattle Seahawks, where he appeared in 16 games.

Bush signed with the Browns in 2024 and re-signed with them in March on a one-year, $3.25 million deal.

A spokesperson for the Browns told ESPN the team is “aware and gathering more info.”

At this point, the consequences Bush will face are unclear.
