Recently on Twitter, Brett Favre shared his opinion regarding the current situation surrounding Deshaun Watson asking for a trade from the Houston Texans.
“You get paid a ton of money to do a certain job, and just do it, and let the chips fall where they may. I think we make too much money to voice an opinion, but I am not saying he’s wrong. Again, I think it’s a different day and time, and it’ll be interesting to see how the organization handles it,” Favre told Yahoo Sports.
After Favre shared his opinion, Watson’s agent David Mulugheta took it to Twitter to fire back. “Brett should probably stop throwing stones from that glass house he’s sitting in,” Mulgheta wrote via Twitter.

In tweeting this, Mulugheta was referencing the reported trade requests that Favre made himself at the end of his career when he was with the Packers. According to multiple reports, Favre was upset that the team was unwilling to trade a fifth-round pick to acquire Randy Moss, who Favre later recruited that offseason.
Moss ended up being traded to the Patriots. The future Hall of Fame wideout ended up recording 23 touchdowns in 2007 which helped the Patriots advance to Super Bowl XLII. That year, the Packers made it to the NFC title game before they fell short to the New York Giants.
