Boxer Marvin Jones’ Cell Phone Falls Out Of Pocket During Match

During a bout between Marvin “PapiGallo” Jones and Ramon Luis Nicolas — which aired on Telemundo — the match had to be stopped momentarily because Jones forgot that his cell phone was in his pocket.

The first time Jones jumped up, the cell phone popped out and landed on the mat, causing the ref to stop the match and hand the phone to Marvin’s corner. This is thoroughly embarrassing, as the announcers — who were speaking Spanish — and the referee got a good chuckle out of the incident. But at least, in the end, Jones was able to smile about the situation.

Unfortunately, the smile did not last long as Ramon Luis Nicolas controlled the match, knocking “PapiGallo” out.
