The former New York Yankee Pineda has been nursing his arm after missing the entire 2018 season and is slowly returning to full fitness. Pineda has started 13 times this season and has a 5.04 ERA. Pineda’s last start, however, against the Seattle Mariners, gave up only one run in five innings.

“We’re playing good baseball. We’ve got a lot of baseball to play, though,” Porcello said, according to Boston.com.

With their underrated stars, the Twins are on pace to have a 107-win regular season. According to the Wall Street Journal, the Twins are currently on pace to hit 313 home runs in the 2019 season, which would beat the Yankees’ current record of 267 from last season.
