Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is poised to make a £71 million ($90 million) transfer to the Chinese Super League this summer.
The 28-year-old French-born Gabonese star is one of the most targeted strikers in Europe, with Premier League teams Liverpool and Chelsea both having expressed interest in him.
Aubameyang — who is also being pursued by Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain — could most likely end up signing with CSL club Tianjin Quanjian, according to most reports.
Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke initially emphasized that the team would forbid their top scorer from transferring for less than £63 million ($81 million). However, Tianjin chairman Shu Yuhui appears prepared to spend around £71 million on Aubameyang.

German publication Bild claims the Gabonese forward could earn up to £500,000 ($646,000) per week in China. The Chinese FA recently instituted new laws that establish a 100 percent tax on foreign signings.
Aubameyang scored 31 goals in 32 Bundesliga games this season.
Tianjin is also reportedly finalizing a deal for FC Cologne’s French forward Anthony Modeste.
