Anthony “Rumble” Johnson has agreed to terms with Bellator MMA.

The 36-year-old is a former two-time UFC light heavyweight champion challenger. Johnson has not competed since his loss to Daniel Cormier in a title rematch at UFC 210. That match was in 2017, and then two years later, he announced his comeback.

However, he has not made any attempt to make it real. Johnson has not entered the USADA testing pool to start his mandatory six months of consistent clean testing. He has to do that first so he will be cleared to return.

He had recently parted ways with UFC and then joined the Bellator MMA. He is expected to fight next year for the promotion. Johnson will be expected to join as a light heavyweight, a division where he had seen success. He is thought to be a title contender to the current Bellator light heavyweight champion Ryan Bader.
