Weehawken, N.J., police said he was also involved in a similar incident Monday. In a press release, they said Lauletta was charged with “eluding police, a third-degree crime, obstructing the administration of law and resisting arrest.” Lauletta also was charged with “motor vehicle charges are for reckless driving, disregarding an officer’s directions, improper turn in the marked traffic lane and failure to remain in a marked lane.”

Apparently, the car already had a summons issued by mail for it due to his prior incident. Police stopped him after he tried to evade traffic again on NJ 495.
