Ronda Rousey Throws Haymaker At Floyd Mayweather During Interview

Between her memoir and her film roles — she was in last year’s Expendables 3 and appeared in Universal’s billion dollar hit Furious 7 — Ronda Rousey has thoroughly enjoyed the media spotlight. Most recently, she was doing a promotional with Access Hollywood for the Entourage adaptation, when asked an interesting question: “Could you take [Floyd Mayweather] down?”

“Well, I would never say that I can’t beat anyone, but I don’t think me and him would ever fight,” Ronda said “Unless we ended up dating.”

Of course, she was joking, but she touches on a very sore issue for the boxing champion and multimillionaire, who is currently being sued for his comments about his domestic violence arrest in 2010. And this latest lawsuit does not even touch upon his other alleged assault charges against women, which has been highlighted during the buildup to the Manny Pacquiao bout.

Now, this is not the first time a UFC fighter has called out Floyd. Conor McGregor told Esquire, “If you put me face-to-face with Floyd Mayweather — pound-for-pound boxing’s best — if I fought Floyd, I would kill him in less than thirty seconds.”

And this was something later reiterated by UFC president Dana White. “Do you not believe that? Of course,” Dana White told TMZ Sports. “Any of these guys would… You got boxing that is one thing, these guys do everything. Everyone of these guys will kick Mayweather’s ass.”
