And Carabobo F.C. forward Aquiles Ocanto learned this the other day. After Carabobo’s draw with Aragua F.C., Ocanto was doing an interview with reporter Maria Alexandra Bastidas. Out of nowhere, a fan dressed in a yellow shirt came running into frame and drop kicked him in the back.

Afterwards, the fan ran away, the reporter’s jaw dropped and Ocanto remained on the floor in pain. Following the incident, Carabobo released an official statement through their Twitter account.

When translated, it stated, “Achilles Ocanto is well and has not sustained any injury. We reject such acts of violence in football.”
